What was the highlight of Grand Palace

Achieved its purpose of a relaxing 8 days for chilling out or doing as much as you want(we chilled out).

Staff were great Sammi who made up our room was fantastic nothing was to much trouble.Themed restaurants were a nice touch and were excellent.Unfortunatley being non smokers most of the outdoor areas including all the bars weren’t.But all in all good value for money and a fantastic outdoors area and pool guys went out of their way to make sure you had a sun lounger.Would recommend as the all inclusive package worked well for us.

We booked a Junior suite with direct pool access but on arrival were given something else.That being said they changed our room first thing in the morning without hesitation.Room location was fantastic but we didn’t have any hot water for 3 days.That got fixed but not as fast as you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in Our room was very spacious an the swim up is extraordinary. Staff were very attentive and friendly and food options excellent. Fresh mango juice was something else

Exceptional hotel

The hotel was incredibly nice, it has a brilliant pool and really nice bedrooms. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon so upon arrival the staff greeted us in our room with a song and a honeymoon cake which was a really nice touch. They had also decorated our room. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and kept checking to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We had an amazing room with a very scenic view of the sea. The beach and the pool area were great and a really good place to chill out during the day.

The quality of the food wasn't great. We had a steak in the steak restaurant and it didn't really taste like steak. I had a glass of wine that tasted like it had been watered down.

Amazing stay totally recommend this hotel if you are staying in Hurghada!

I had an incredible stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. From the moment me and my partner arrived, we were impressed by how clean and beautifully designed the entire hotel was. The staff were consistently amazing. Every person I interacted with was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. A special thanks to Khaled at the beach club/snack bar and the man at the Vienna bar on the 2nd floor (sorry I forgot his name but he made amazing espresso martinis just like the ones in London!!) - both went out their way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. Their positive attitude left a lasting impression. The food was great. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes so there was always something different to try and the hotel was kind enough to let us have a late dinner as we had landed quite late. Me and my boyfriend couldn't stop eating we would have 4 meals a day that's how good everything was. Special mention to the greek salad at the beach bar. The pool area and the private beach in front of the hotel was another highlight. It was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. What made it even better was the service - the staff were always around to help find sunbeds and checking if we needed any drinks/snacks there was never a time where we had to look for someone as they always come to check on you! That extra level of attention made a big difference and really enhanced the experience. Psa: had an amazing iced coffee from the pool bar! As for the room, it was spotless with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The housekeeper is always around if we needed anything which was great. Also the fact that someone came to the room to do a pool/beach towel change was amazing as it meant we didn't have to go out of our way to do so. The hotel is also in a great location - close to the airport and not too far from the marina. Walking outside the hotel felt really safe. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

The only issue we experienced was the sewage smell in the toilet in the mornings but housekeeping handled this very well. Every time we returned to the room the smell was gone. It was a very minor inconvenience that was consistently resolved.

I got an upgrade for my room so we had fantastic view from the swimming pools. Amazing staff specially Islam from recept

Wonderful

Staff were really attentive. Beds by the pools were a nice change compared to usual sun loungers. Pool itself was good as there were multiple. The room was a really good size, plenty of space. Good dinner options as there were multiple restaurants available each night. Ahmed at reception was really friendly and helped with all our queries throughout our stay.

Alcohol was watered-down which was really disappointing. Also there was a lack of atmosphere at night-music was quiet and limited. Entertainment was scarce and had to be paid for which is unfair as we were all inclusive. Did not see any daytime activities especially around the pool area eg water games/aerobics.

beautiful hotel to relax

I liked how the hotel and the facilities looked like. Everything was so beautiful and peaceful. The beach was fine, they kept it clean. The water is clear and pleasant for swimming. Some people made an effort to give us a good experience, for example Hamdi the manager! He was all around and making a good atmosphere. The man working in the Vienna Cafe is a very nice person. The guys at the poolbar made great drinks and worked really fast! Wow Our roomboy did an excellent job as well! We liked the a la carte restaurants more than the buffet. There are a few things I didn’t like about tje buffet, but it was no big deal. We were never hungry. In general we felt wonderful and would have loved to stay longer! The guests are mostly older people. After dinner nothing is going on in the hotel (didn’t bother us).

I would like to point out 2 things. Unfortunately we left with a bad mood. The reception asked us to pay on arrival which we did. On the check out everything was ok. When we were leaving the hotel, one guy from the reception approached us and said there was a mistake and we still have to pay 30€. Since we had to leave to catch our flight we had no time to discuss and were really disappointed. This is not okay for any hotel. Second, the service at the beach. The two men working on the beach to serve drinks have a lot to do. Anyways, it’s a 5 star resort and we payed a lot of money for our holiday. We mostly had to go to get our drinks by ourselves. They were not really friendly and attentive. We tried to call them but they wouldnt hear it or look our way. The sellers on the beach were annoying for us personally. Every day they asked us to buy massage or tours and we made it very clear that we just want to relax. I’d prefer if they had a stand where people can go if they want to buy a massage, shisha or tour.

Outstanding Service and Unforgettable Stay at Grand Palace I had a fantastic experience at the Grand Palace Hotel! The staff were truly the highlight of our stay—especially Mr. Fadi, who went above and beyond by offering us a better room without us even asking. His thoughtful gesture made our trip even more memorable. The hotel is in a perfect location, and the food was absolutely amazing. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, smiling, and genuinely supportive. A special mention goes to the morning chef who prepared the omelets—always cheerful and kind, even though I didn't catch his name. Thank you to the entire team at Grand Palace for making our stay so enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Overall we recommend it, good value for its price.

We had a pleasent stay here. The garden is really beautiful and we had a great view from the balcony.

The food was overall okay but sometimes lacked of taste and dishes were mostly repetative in the main restaurant. There were numerous desserts but they all tasted the same and we didn’t like them.

The staff is exceptional people are very pleasant and help with everything. The beach and the pool are amazing. The food was quite good. The buffet is rich with tasty food. I really enjoy my stay there.

Beautiful all inclusive. Missing entertainment

We loved the area, the luxury of the private pool and so close to the beach. The personnel are very professional and well educated and service minded. Everything is really clean and well taken care of.

The only entertainment they had was Monday - Friday and you had to pay extra just to see it which we didn’t. No bar with a bit more life and music. You have to reserve a table for dinner the day before on all of their 5 restaurants, or you’d be left out only with the option of buffet. Also you’ll be lucky if you get the time you want as there’s only a few spots available. We had to pay the taxi we got from the hotel extra due to that our flight was delayed, though we informed the hotel in time.

Beautiful relaxing resort with everything you need

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The whole resort is beautiful, lots of different sunbeds on the beach and pool. The pool is very clean. Lots of food variety and options during the day. The junior suite with direct pool access is gorgeous and definitely worth it. All areas of the hotel are very clean and regularly maintained.

The additional WIFI in the rooms does not guarantee signal, in general the wifi service is pretty spotty. You are a bit far from the popular Hurghada walkways but very close to the airport ( you do not hear airplanes :) )

Wonderful

The room was great with lovely comfortable King size bed. Restaurants were nice and main one had plenty of choice. Pool and pool area was nice. All the staff were so nice and friendly and tried to accommodate any request we had.

Although the food was nice it was just OK. Service around the pool was very slow. We would sometimes wait up to 30 minutes and a couple of times, the waiter forgot our order completely. The main bar was not suitable for non-smokers. A lot of people were smoking there so we tended to go to the upper bar.

Wonderful

Great and friendly staff , they do everything they can to please you. Good buffet and restaurants, rooms are big and confortable. Very clean. It you are a diver is a good place to be in because there is a great diving center next to it. Overall a wonderful experience

Minor things, halls were a little dark an the elevator next to us did not work.
